Classic Vintage JVC Model VS-5333 Speakers - Awesome Sound!
Just look at these GORGOUS vintage JVC Model VS-5333 speakers! Ain't they something? Manufactured between 1973 and 1977, these are 3-way speakers weighing a hefty 13.6kg apiece! They are 640mm high by 380mm wide by 320mm deep, have an impedance of 8 ohms, and are rated for peak power of 200w with a frequency response of 38Hz – 20KHz.
They sound fabulous...the 12" full range woofers sound sweet, and those Dual Multi-Cellular Horns rival the titanium tweeters on my wonderful reference speakers in terms of accuracy and low distortion. And those sexy Overload Indicator lights - may they never be required!
The JVC's Image as good as any vintage speaker I've ever heard, with lovely open soundstage. I also really like the action of the tweeter and midrange pots. Very clean with lots of substance to them.
