Stunning 1970s Leak Sandwich 600 Speakers - Fantastic Sound/Cond
In 1961 Leak released a revolutionary loudspeaker design that gave true piston action of the cone. This was the leak "Sandwich" loudspeaker, so named because the diaphragm was made from a thick section (approx 10mm) of expanded polystyrene sandwiched between two outer skins of aluminium.
These classic vintage 600 series came out a decade later; are in full working order; and sound as absolutely gorgeous as they look. I've been driving them with my lovely NAD T785 amp, and they sound absolutely crystal clear; with good, with deep, effortless bass, sweet mid-band and smooth treble.
They look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING in my lounge, and I'm sure they'll add instant class to yours too! One owner before me, these have been looked after during their long life.
Dimensions (W x H x D): 38 x 66 x 32.5 cm Weight: 30kg EACH!! Nominal Impedance: 8 Ohm Frequency Response: 40 - 20000 Hz
